Response to Comments Discussing "The Wire"

I was surfing Youtube and ran across a discussion about whether or not the HBO show "The Wire" was realistic. My response was as follows:

The Wire is as close as you are going to come to the real sh*t. What are they going to do show brothers with duct taped heads and five to the dome? Or youngins' runnin' up in a funeral, pullin' the body out the casket, shootin' it up and escapin' in a police car. That's real DC sh*t. What white producer in his right mind is going to go there? It's about entertainment and the real sh*t ain't a movie, it's life and death.
